Author of four romantic thrillers, Rose Senehi is noted for weaving environmental themes into her plots. Her latest novel, "In the Shadows of Chimney Rock," has been nominated for the 2009 SIBA Book Award by members of the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance as the BEST IN SOUTHERN LITERATURE FOR THE YEAR. She is currently writing her fifth novel,"The Wind in the Woods," to be out February 2010. It is the second in a series of three novels that take place in the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains where she has a second home. A resident of the Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island, South Carolina, area she featured in her third book, "Pelican Watch," she moved to the South from Upstate New York in 1996. Senehi was a featured author at the 2007 Readers in the Rockies symposium in Crested Butte, Colorado, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston in 2006 and 2007, the Amelia Island Book Festival, and the Carolina Mountain Book Festival in Burnsville, NC.
